Leading high-street fashion brand French Connection has been exploring the potential of the Gaggletag Responder in a retail environment with a trial during a blogger event at its Oxford Street Flagship store for the launch of the 2016 Denim range.
FCUK worked with us to use the Gaggletag Responder to deliver a interactive game in store for invited bloggers, incentivised with a prize of a shopping spree. The activity helped drive engagement as well as distribute of content about the new line to the bloggers many thousands of followers.
Participants were encouraged to tweet photos of the new items which each carried a specific Gaggletag. The Responder then replied with a response from the FCUK Twitter account with a link to information about that item. One of the tags was the designated hidden “winning tag” which bloggers needed to share to be entered into the draw, which encouraged everyone to tweet as many tags as they could find.
